This coming 7th November a Gala Dinner will be held in London to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce in Great Britain. During this event the presentation of awards to publicly acknowledge the Friends of Spain Brand in the United Kingdom, an initiative of Leading Brands of Spain Forum, will take place. Both the Chamber of Commerce and the Leading Brands of Spain Forum are working together to organise this event, which will be presided over by Their Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Asturias. Top representatives from the governments of Spain and the United Kingdom will also be present. The event is being organised with the aim of familiarising British opinion leaders with leading Spanish brands, creating a platform for relations and contacts with a discerning public, promoting the image of Spanish business by linking it to the prestige of well-known Spanish brands, and strengthening the bonds of friendship and collaboration between both countries via the acknowledgement of the Friends of Spain Brand.

During the event, in addition to the aforementioned awards ceremony, a promotional audiovisual presentation on the actuality of business in Spain will be shown. A brief tribute will also be given to one of our recently departed Ambassadors, Severiano Ballesteros, who was greatly loved and esteemed in Spain as well as in Great Britain. 

A select public, and potential target for Spanish brands, will be invited to this event. Those invited will be senior officials, dignitaries from British civil society, the business sector and the media. British figures that are recognised as Friends of Spain Brand will be included among those attending.
