Last September the Leading Brands of Spain Forum launched the Mandarin Chinese version of their Leading Brands of Spain portal, which they hope will make Spanish brands more widely known in China. This website transfers and extends the content of the book Leading Brands of Spain in China, presented by the Leading Brands Forum in Beijing and Shanghai in January 2008, which had already been digitally formatted in its Spanish and English versions.
The new portal, which can be accessed via http://www.leadingbrandsofspain.com/china/ (in western characters) or http://www.西班牙知名品牌.com (in Chinese characters) includes a presentation of the brands belonging to the Leading Brands of Spain Forum and also serves as a letter of introduction for the institution and for some of its initiatives, such as the Spain Brand Honorary Ambassadors, who have a separate section on the portal.
The adaptation of the texts and format of Leading Brands of Spain to Internet will allow the publication to go on being updated with the entry of new members in the Leading Brands of Spain Association. This gives it a dynamic slant and the will to continue to evolve in the future as a portal for the promotion of leading Spanish brands in China.
