Antonio Abril takes part in the “Global Brand Vision for New Times” conference

The Vice-Chairman of the Leading Brands of Spain Association (AMRE), Antonio Abril, took part on 27 April in the conference “Global Brand Vision for New Times” jointly organised by Interbrand and AMRE, in the head office conference centre of our partner Uría Menéndez in Madrid. The main attraction at the conference was the presence of the Chief Executive Officer of the Interbrand Group, Jez Frampton. During his intervention, Antonio Abril overviewed the project and the aims of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum (FMRE), together with the importance of the brand name for the company. He then showed the video Ambassador Brands of Spain in the US, which had recently been screened at the dinner held for this purpose. Together with Antonio Abril, Gonzalo Brujó, CEO of Interbrand Spain, and Jaime Montalvo, Promotion Managing Director of ICEX, joined forces to present the event, along with the representative of Uría Menéndez, Luis de Carlos. Jez Frampton was responsible for the main thrust of the conference, addressing the importance for companies of the brand in his speech, with plenty of references to the economic crisis and other topical issues such as dealer brands.
