Expansión publishes a debate on internationalisation in Spanish companies
Comparte
On 23 December, Expansión published a two-page article with the conclusions from a debate held by the members of the Expansión and Actualidad Económica Advisory Board on the recent experiences and internationalisation policies of Spanish Companies with special emphasis on SMEs.
The Board’s overriding conclusion was that Spain faces an urgent task to which the Government and political authorities, over and above rhetoric declarations, are not giving the priority that they deserve: to increasing the international competitiveness of companies, therefore helping to correct the serious imbalance of our balance of payments.
Participants in the debate included the permanent members of the Advisory Board, the Executive Deputy Chairman of the Institute of Foreign Trade (ICEX), Ángel Martín Acebes and the Secretary General for Foreign Trade, Alfredo Bonet, and Juan Barba, Director of the State Foreign Trade Agency P4R, Carlos Barrabés, Consultant for SME internationalisation, and Luis Miguel Sanz, head of International Business Development for Grupo Inster.
