J. García-Carrión belongs to a traditional wine-making family, currently run by the founder’s great-grandson.
They make wines in the most prestigious Spanish appellations of origin and have their own bodegas and vineyards:
1.Bodegas 1890 DO Jumilla.This name honours the year when García-Carrión was founded. The estate is the result of the hard work of five generations.Brands: Mayoral, Castillo San Simón and Montelago.
2. Bodegas Marqués de Carrión DOCa Rioja. There are two wineries: one in Briones (Rioja Alta) and another in Labastida (Rioja Alavesa). Brands: Marqués de Carrión, Antaño, Montequino and Solar de Carrión.
3. Bodegas Viña Arnáiz DO Ribera del Duero: Situated in Aza where vineyards have been cultivated since the 12th century, the brands from this vineyard are: Arnáiz and Mayor de Castilla.
4. Bodegas Jaume Serra DO Penedès: This winery was built in 1647 in a place named El Paruell. This 125-hectare estate is planted with Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot varieties.
Both wines and cavas are produced here:Cava Jaume Serra and Cava Cristalino, which has a 25% market share in the USA.

6. Bodegas Agrícola Castellana DO Rueda is a joint-venture created many years ago by García-Carrión in partnership with 400 Castilian farmers. Brands: Solar de la Vega
