On 27 November, Rubén Marcos (Director of Research of the Leading Brands of Spain) took part in the International Marketing Day organised by the Jaume I University of Castellón. The International Marketing Day was held in the city’s port authority headquarters, during which Mr Marcos made a presentation entitled, The power of the brand in the current climate: the importance of brand policy and the need for internationalisation.

In his presentation, the Forum’s representative emphasised the importance of investing in brands as long term assets. He presented the Spanish Ambassador Brands Plan and proposed several ideas to consider on the concept of Made in/by Spain.

Rubén Marcos was accompanied by the IESE teacher, Lluis G.Renart, who spoke on forms of internationalisation and Julio Cerviño, a professor from the Carlos III University of Madrid and regular collaborator of the Leading Brands of Spain Forum, gave a presentation on International Marketing.
